Comparing Contrast Essay Samples

Comparing Contrast Essay SamplesThere are so many questions I get from parents about how to compare contrast essay samples. The question I get the most is, what kind of essays should I compare to see if they are worth taking one of my child's? Or if they can't be used to help develop their creativity and imagination?Sometimes the answer to this question is that it depends. Some essays are written to help you with research and presenting ideas, but other essays are written to get you started on creating more interesting essay ideas. Some students write with essay assistance; it's really the best way to learn and write because they can see how to use and organize the materials they have and how to go through a piece from beginning to end. It's a perfect model for when you're struggling with a topic or writing a very personal essay. However, it is important to understand that there are varying expectations as to what is acceptable from the various essay examples. For example, many school s and instructors will tell you that plagiarism is unacceptable. So, how do you decide what is plagiarism and what is not? Well, there are some guidelines that you should follow.First, you should look at the structure of the essay. If it does not flow well, if there are grammatical and spelling errors and if the essay is filled with contradictions, then it may be in violation of your school's policy.Second, you should read through the essay, make notes, discuss and with a copy editor or someone who knows what they are looking at. Look for errors and inconsistencies, such as a writer misusing quotation marks, bad punctuation, etc. If you cannot identify them on your own, a good copy editor will know.Third, if you are a copy editor, and they find errors or inconsistencies, ask for them to be removed and explain your reasoning. Explain that these issues will be present no matter what style of essay you choose, but should be fixed before you turn it in to the school. Most schools would r ather have errors corrected, rather than have an essay that could be considered plagiarism.A final point to remember when it comes to comparing contrast essay samples is to remember that they can be used to help with your essay topic. Most will suggest a similar theme and will also create some templates of topics that you could use. Just keep in mind that you have to be able to write a complete essay based on the format and subject chosen for the essay samples, not just half-hearted.
